Limited Time Awa Odori Event: Bath Salt Workshop with Tokushima Indigo and Yuko Citrus
During the Awa Odori festival from Wednesday, August 12 to Saturday, August 15, 2026, LHOOQ NATURAL BEAUTY STAND will host a workshop on creating bath salts using materials from Tokushima and Shikoku. This is a limited-time experience where you can create your own custom bath salts by combining indigo powder from Tokushima, essential oil from the local "Yuko" citrus, and salt from the Muroto deep ocean water.
Connect with nature in Tokushima during the 4 days of Awa Odori
The four days when the city of Tokushima is wrapped in the excitement of Awa Odori.
Beyond just enjoying the dance, we want you to connect with the nature and culture of Tokushima and take home memories of your time here. With this in mind, we have prepared a bath salt-making experience using ingredients from Tokushima and Shikoku.
Experience the colors, scents, and textures of these materials as you craft your own unique bath salt by hand.
Workshops are limited to 6 participants per session.
Using natural materials from Tokushima and Shikoku
In this workshop, we will use indigo powder produced in Tokushima Prefecture, essential oil from the local "Yuko" citrus, and salt made from Muroto deep ocean water.
Tokushima Indigo Powder
Indigo is a plant that has long supported the culture and industry of Tokushima. While widely known as a dye, at LHOOQ, we incorporate it into our products and experiences as one of the symbolic botanical materials of Tokushima.
Tokushima "Yuko" Citrus
Yuko is an aromatic citrus fruit cherished in Tokushima. In this workshop, we use Yuko essential oil to create bath salts, blending it with indigo and salt.
Salt from Muroto Deep Ocean Water
The base of our bath salts uses salt created from the deep ocean water off the coast of Muroto. Enjoy the colors, scents, and textures of these materials as you combine them with indigo and Yuko.
Creating your own custom bath salt
Combine the materials and mix them by hand to finish your own custom bath salt. You can take your finished product home with you.
Use them for a relaxing bath after enjoying Awa Odori, as a souvenir of your Tokushima trip, or as a gift for family and friends.
